Bio

Dr. Anabela Ratilal has over 31 years of experience. She began her career in March 1975 at the Ministry of Education, where she worked until 1992. In 1992, she transferred to the Ministry of Health, where she remained until 2010, contributing significantly to the reform of the National Health System. Throughout her career, she also worked in private hospitals and clinics, most notably at the Maputo Private Hospital between 2012 and 2016.
In addition to her practical work, Dr. Anabela was a psychology professor from 1992 to 2018, teaching at various courses and universities, including the Pedagogical University, the University of ISTEM, the University of ISPU, and the University of ISCISA. Additionally, she specialized in medical and social psychology, a field in which she taught from 1994 to 2018.

Currently, Dr. Anabela Ratilal works in the psychology office at the Lenmed Maputo Private Hospital.
